Property Profile: River North Commons
River North Commons is a modern, urban loft conversion condominium community in the lively, fast-growing River North neighborhood of Chicago. It is located on 700 Kingsbury between Huron and Superior and its amenities include a 24/7 door staff, fitness center, extra storage, sundeck, party room, and bike room.
The original headquarters of the Stiffel Lamp Company, the building converted from factory space to condominiums in 2000. The community is comprised of two mid-rise buildings, each seven stories in height and totaling 198 units. The majority of floor plans are 1- and 2-bedroom lofts. Most standard units include a fireplace, patio balcony and hardwood floors. Monthly assessments cover water, parking, common insurance, door staff, cable television, exercise facilities, exterior maintenance, scavenger and snow removal.
River North Commons has had more than 15 seconds of fame in the past year. In October the building was featured in an episode of “Chicago Fire” on NBC when an interior scene was filmed in the lobby. It was also featured on TLC’s program “My First Home,” a television show that follows potential home buyers through the highs and lows of a first home purchase.
Lieberman Management Services proudly began providing management services to River North Commons in 2013. The property is managed by LMS Property Manager Donna Curtin.
