Carla Young Kennedy, CEO of Lieberman Management Services, Inc., located in Elk Grove Village, was elected to the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Chicago and Northern Illinois, at the organization’s December board meeting.
Better Business Bureau board members are responsible for overseeing the direction of the organization and its strategies, as well as conferring with the executives responsible for day-to-day operations of the BBB. The Chicago and Northern Illinois Better Business Bureau encompasses nearly 9,000 accredited businesses.
“I’m honored to serve on the board of directors for the Chicago and Northern Illinois Better Business Bureau,” said Carla Young Kennedy. “I am a strong supporter of fair business practices, and the BBB’s Accreditation requirements and Standards for Trust clearly establish a set of best practices for organizations to build and maintain marketplace trust. I look forward to promoting those values within the board of directors.”
Carla has more than 20 years of real estate management experience. Prior to joining Lieberman, she was president of CAMCO, Inc., a national management company specializing in multi-family and commercial management. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University, and the CPA designation.
Lieberman Management Services, Inc. provides property management services to more than 200 community associations. The company has been a BBB Accredited Business for more than nine years.
